Worst movie ever? Prove me wrong...
Now I know everyone is wondering why after all this time I decided to post a journal entry, and I have one reason..... that reason's name is M. Night. Shyamalan.

Now I'm not writing this just to have a go at M. Night. Well... yes. Yes I am actually. I'm normally an up-beat guy, I've never finished watching a movie and actually HATED it before, And I've seen Dragonball Evolution!

This movie felt like a last minute effort by a media student, and not a good student, one of the students who sleeps during class or picks his nose and rates it 1 to 10. In saying that, this movie is DEFINITELY the biggest flop of the year. I'd give it 0.5 picked noses out of 10.

I know that M. Night was trying to make the names sound more realistic, but in doing so spat in the fans faces, as it sounded like he could'nt even pronounce their names correctly. On that note, it feels like he hasn't seen the cartoon series before. Skipping through the story, there is NO character development and instead of letting most of the story play through, he thinks that telling it rather than showing it will still make sense to people who have yet to see the cartoon series.

I have tried to piece together what he was thinking, i've seen countless interviews with M. Night, and he seems to be very happy with his work, his daughter is a fan of the show, I wonder what she thought of it... I can't say much more that hasn't already been said, but let me close on a few key points.

M. Night Shyamalan has in my opinion, ruined what was supposed to be the most awaited movie of avatar since the series ended, old fans have been crushed, new fans have lost interest and I've yet to see anyone offer a review praising what M. Night has done. I doubt he will be funded for the sequels, but if they do end up coming into this world, perhaps a new director and cast could benefit everyone. It doesnt take a genius to realize which country should have been which.

I have so much more to say, but I could fill a book with what I hated about the movie. So how about I let everyone else tell me what they hated (or liked.....) You know you want to... peace out.
